sigh...

First of all, Adam and I would like to congratulate Gracen on her new skill of removing herself from the crib without any assistance whatsoever. You are indeed a very talented little person.

Fortunately, she discovered this ability during naptime the same day that we were planning on transitioning into her big girl bed for night sleep. I guess she overheard us talking and just wanted to get a head start. That's our little overachiever. She has been insisting that I lie down with her first in bed, which I do not mind at all. She pats the bed beside her and says, "Mama, bed." Refusal just isn't even an option, and she's just so cuddly. She does have to sleep with her entourage: Froggy (of course), X-Mas Curious George, Monkey (yes, that's his name), lil' Froggy (with attached pacifier that confuses her), Ali G (her new alligator from the Everglades), and Psycho T (teddy bear wearing UNC's Hansorough's jersey). Entourage must also go downstairs for breakfast in the morning.

So far she's loving her new room. We are having a bit of an issue with her getting up from nap and playing with all of her toys, and I literally mean ALL of her toys. She's pulls everything down from the shelf before starting to play. Usually by that point, I've come in to tell her to go back to bed, which she does until I close the door. We've been working on our current nap for an hour and fifteen minutes. She's still playing, though she's at least moved her toys to her bed. Perhaps this is a step. In the crib days, we would just lie her down, and she was asleep in about two minutes, so this may take some time.
Avery's room is starting to take form. I broke into the stored 0-3 month clothing last night, and the excitement is growing. I have been much calmer this time around in waiting for birth to come, though Adam may choose to disagree. Nesting is kicking in, and I can't seem to get anything completed quickly enough. Yesterday, I kicked Adam out of his dresser (without him knowing) and carried it up the stairs (by myself) to put in Avery's room. For some reason, Adam thought I should have waited for his brute strength to take on such a task. He doesn't really get the whole nesting urgency perspective. I'll post pics of both girls rooms once I get them a little closer to completion.
So, the babymoon...
I think I've waited so long to blog because it has been tough transitioning to reality. Islamorada
is beautiful. We stayed at the Cheeca Lodge and Spa, which was much fancier than I had expected. The boy went all out. The weather was warm all week, though it rained a couple of days. Even the rainy weather was great, as we spent the days in our lovely apartment or in the tiki bar just lounging and reading. We accomplished very little, and it was perfect. We played golf, very poorly I might add, and took a kayak out to some far off keys. We had planned numerous other activites, like snorkling and swimming with dolphins, but we opted for hours of uninterrupted relaxation. I also had a Mother Earth prenatal massage, and I came real close to dragging that little lady back home with me in the suitcase.
Gracen did well in our absence, and didn't really seem to miss us. My mom came for the first part of the week, and she came down with some flu-type of bug. Fortunately, Gracen had been dosed up on some Astragalus and Echinacea all week and was able to get by with a slightly runny nose. Yay for herbs (and Amy who tells us all about them)!! Adam's mom came to save the day, taking care of Gracen and Ghi-ghi. Gracen loves her grandmothers, and we are so grateful both of you took the time to give us this opportunity to travel. It was so good to have a chance to reconnect and remember just how much we love each other.

Poison Control

1-800-222-1222

This is a good number to have handy in case your child ever eats a half a container of extra strength Tums.

I had serious heartburn issues when I was pregnant with Gracen. I kept containers of Tums in my car, by the bed, in my office, and when I went to teach classroom guidance, a student was in charge of keeping them safe and making sure I didn't forget them behind. When my students would see me in the hall without them, 1st graders especially, I would quickly be reminded to turn around and go get them. For someone who had never had heartburn, it was shocking that my body could turn on me so dreadfully. It didn't help that my feet were swelling far beyond the confines of my flip flops at that point. Avery seems to be attacking my digestive system like her big sis, and I've had to turn back to my good friends, Tums.

A couple of weeks ago, Gracen snagged one in my car. They taste like candy, as I get the tropical fruity variety. I didn't worry about it too much, but it did slightly alter her "output" for a day or so. The other morning, I was busy putting on a load of laundry and ignoring my child who had travelled upstairs on her own. I heard what sounded to be her playing with her Curious George wooden tool set at the top of the stairs, so I continued with my negligence. A good 3-5 minutes later, I climbed upstairs myself only to be hit with a bottle of Tums. She throws the thing at you when she realizes she's not supposed to be playing with something. I suppose if she does it quickly enough, she assumes you will not have noticed the error of her ways. Anyway, I fished a couple of crumbled Tums out of her mouth and was bitten several times. The bottle, which had been in our home for less than 36 hours was now half full. I know I eat a lot of them, but I'm pretty sure I didn't take down half a bottle.

So I called Poison Control (I'm happy to report we made it 21 months without having to use this number before). Apparently, no harm shall come to her as long as I quit allowing for opportunites such as these to arise. If it's a "continued exposure" it could affect her calcium levels, which could be bad. I'm sorry sweet girl. No more Tums for us. I'm graduating to Zantac.

Intresting poo report from excessive Tums exposure:

1. It makes them come out WHITE. Or maybe a dull light gray, but shocking nonetheless.

2. It makes a child poop in the tub for the first time in her life. I won't expand on this one, but just know that it wasn't pretty.

Gracen ended up in bed with me about 5 AM, since her daddy was out of town and she'd been awake since 2:45 laughing and talking. I woke up this morning to Gracen pulling my eyelids open saying, "Mama, up, up. Mama nudge ooo (love you). Mama, miss oooo. Mama, up, up. Bye-bye." It hurts my heart to love this kid so damn much.

Also, I will be out of touch for the next week. Adam is taking me on a BABYMOON!!! We're heading to the Florida Keys on Sunday and returning Friday. Grandmothers will be taking over parental duties for the week. I can't believe we're going to be away from her for so long, but we figure this is the last time for some years that we'll be able to get away with just the two of us. We'll miss you!

Baby Hog

Gracen is practicing for her upcoming role as a big sister. So far, she's loving lil' cuz Zachary and doesn't seem to mind me loving on him either. I'm hoping this is a good sign for a transition to a bigger family unit this summer. We love this little man.
Aunt Belle and Uncle Sheppie spent the weekend in Chapel Hill. Annie wouldn't let anyone else hold baby Zach, including his mother, for two days. I begged and pleaded, but was denied.

Aww, the girlies together again (me, Hannah, Laura and Annie). It's so good to be surrounded by the people who know you best. Please come back over.

Gracen's favorite person in the universe seems to be her Uncle Sheppie, and she was very sad to see him leave. Aunt Belle would probably have been stricken with jealousy had she not been hogging Zachary the entire visit.

I apologize for the excessively cheesy post last Wednesday. I was indeed feeling overly emotional (hormonal) and overwhelmed with my auto-anthropomorphic break-up. (Cort--thank you. I forgot I loved that word so very much. Wordly Wise, eh?). Let me introduce you to my new friend, '96 Chevy Tahoe. She's big and old and solid and drinks a lot. But I think I love her. I do find myself feeling slightly guilty about the fuel efficiency; however, I drive very little. And I can haul A LOT of stuff in this girl, which is quite exciting. And if we ever get snow or ice, which hasn't happened in years, I'll have a 4 wheel drive to get me safely around town. So bring on the blizzards. We're ready.

So sad...

Dear Mattie,

I'm sorry I had to say goodbye today. You have been a true joy in my life. All 36,211 miles you have driven me have been nothing short of spectacular, and I thank you for always getting me to my destination safely and in such style. I believe you will love your new owner, as she has been admiring and loving you for months now. You will now be named Donna, however. Donna Matrix. Yes, you will get along splendidly.

Please forgive me for parting ways. I will see you again (every other week when I go to the specialty shop for dog food). Your new driver has even told me I can take you for some spins around the parking lot. My sweet first new car, I will miss your fuel efficiency, your smoothness, your quick reaction time, your pep, all of you. Thank you for taking care of my family and me these past years.

Keep on keepin' on...

Insomnia

Isn't she precious?

Adam and our friend Scott moved some furniture for me yesterday so that I could get the rest of Gracen's Big Girl Room underway. So now she has her bed, her dresser from her old room, and a large shelf made by my father to store her toys. All we need is some artwork, and we'll be finished. The nesting urge is kicking in much harder than it ever did with Gracen. I have a ridiculous number of projects for me (or Adam) to complete, and nothing can get done quickly enough.

Since Gracen has been playing in her new room for weeks and she and I have been sharing her new bed on sleepless nights, we thought last night might be a good day to try out falling asleep in bed. Only after Adam lying down with her for a good 15 minutes followed by me lying down with her for another 30 minutes, she finally fell asleep. I was so proud, yet wanted to cry at her being old enough to be in a bed all by herself. It was short lived. She woke up at 1:00 AM, due to a leaky diaper, and stayed awake until at least 4:30, talking happily at times, crying inconsolably at others. We moved from crib to bed countless times, rocked, but she was determined to start her day. She woke again at 6:45.

I suppose I spoke too soon last week when I mentioned that we had overcome our sleep regression. I believe that was actually the last night we slept through. I think we're going to go back to the crib, and may have to take a harsher cry-out method. I'm not as comfortable with the cry-it-out approach as I was when she was younger, learning to fall asleep for the night. There's something a little sadder, sweeter, and needier about night waking that hurts my heart more harshly. I'm torn between the Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child and attachment parenting philosophies. Every mothering bone in my body screams for me to go to her in the night, which I'm certain just perpetuates this cycle of night waking and waiting for Mama to come and snuggle back to sleep. It really wouldn't be such an issue if our snuggle period was 10 minutes. And really, I'd settle for an hour at this point. The other big issue I'm having is that I seem to be completely incapable of falling back to sleep in any reasonable sort of time frame. Again, this wouldn't be that huge of a deal itself, if I was able to fall asleep gracefully at the beginning of the evening and could get the majority of my hours in then. As it stands, I'm sleeping around 4 hours a night, and those hours are interrupted by either Gracen talking/crying or Avery dancing on my bladder. I'm pathetically worthless right now.

It's 10:21, and I'm ready to put Gracen down for her nap. She's cranky and ready too. However, we have a rotten window that is presently being fixed, and there are loud noises outside. Also, this will take away from my opportunity for a nap as I need to be accessible for questions and payment. I'm bitter. And very, very sleepy.

I'm sorry for complaining. Minus the sleep deprivation, life really is wonderful.

Time Warp...

Thank you Tara for Gracie's new hat!! She loves it, perhaps a little too much. She can only eat whilst wearing her "At."

I feel like I posted a few days ago, but just realized it's been almost 2 weeks. I'm not sure what's going on in the space-time continuum these days, but my world seems to be a little off. Must be a wrinkle. I missed you.

Yeah. You see all those names there?! I don't mean to brag, but WOW, folks. Seriously, one of the best shows I've ever seen. It was all four of them, Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin and Buddy Miller, on stage the entire time, together. It was very laid back and casual. We felt like we were in their living room listening to good conversation in the midst of a jam session. I'm sorry all of you couldn't have been there with us. Thank you, dear husband, for giving Amy and I night out on the town. It made the baby girls very happy in there!

I think little girl Riggsbee may be partially named. Avery-no-middle-name-yet-Riggsbee. She's a very sweet girl, and is doing a fine job of making her Mama be aware of her presence. This is good, as meaniehead Daddy won't let me rent another fetal doppler to ease my irrational fears of the child disappearing. Nor will my midwife. It seems to increase my neurotic tendencies, so I'm told. I'm feeling great, though the belly is beginning to get in the way. I really shouldn't complain yet, as I'm well aware of how in the way it will eventually become. I wish I could just time warp from about mid-March to about Mid-May. For those of you spending any time with me from March to May in 2006, you might sympathize with this wish for me.

The G-Unit is perfect, happy, eating like a PIG (must be a growth spurt?) and sleeping again!!! I just discovered today a phrase called "18-month Sleep Regression." Yep. That's what we had. I'm really hoping it has gone away, though during this time of midnight playdates, I have discovered that Gracie's new big girl bed (that she only sleeps in with me), is the absolute most comfortable bed I've ever slept in in my life. I may be switching rooms again. By the end of next month, I'm hoping to have Gracen transitioned into her new bed. Right now, she just doesn't seem to be able to control herself from crawling out and playing with her toys in the darkness. Sadly, Adam took his headband off before I could get a picture of them reading together. Gracen likes to dress him up.

So Mr. Smartypants Daddy was just published in Science. For those nonscientisting people out there, if you were to discover the cure for cancer, your results would probably be published in Science. Click HERE for an article about their article. I'm trying to figure out how to attach a PDF of the document, if it's even possible. Fine work Adam, Doyle, et al. Way to be brilliant!!

Half Baked.

Baby ______ is half way through this whole pregnancy already. It seems to be speeding along, much unlike her sister's pregnancy, which was painfully slow. She's over half a pound, has a wonderfully strong heartbeat, and is quite the wiggle worm. Please keep the names coming!! Quite a few are on the official "maybe" list. My goal was to have her named by the end of the weekend, but I'm thinking it may be more like the end of the month. Perhaps we'll have a blog vote...

(Above: Gracen putting a bowl of oatmeal on her head, saying "Hat, Mama, Hat!" It's okay to be in awe of her brilliance.)

We've spent the past month or so in heavy discussions over whether or not to deliver at the Women's Birth and Wellness Center again or to use the midwives at UNC Hospital. We decided that with our last delivery being so fast, messy and scary (full birth story in upcoming post), we owed it to ourselves and the little one to at least examine all of our options. We went to "Meet the Midwives" at the hospital last week. I went in with what I had hoped would be an open mind, but the fluorescent lighting immediately closed it. The facilities were fine, nice even for a hospital. The people were friendly, competent, and accommodating. But the entire time, I was a big breath away from breaking into tears. It just didn't feel like us. It didn't feel like it could bring us the experience I want for our birth to be. I know the risks involved in choosing an out of hospital birth. Well aware. But I believe in my body's ability to bring this girl into the world in an unmedicated and largely non-medical manner. Because of Gracie's birth experience, we will be putting extra safeguards in place. So dear family, fear not. It will be safe. We had a long discussion yesterday with the midwife who delivered Gracen, and she feels like we're still low-risk patients, and she is completely comfortable having us back again. We will expect the next delivery to be even faster than Gracen, so I'm just hoping to make it to the center in time. There will be no laboring at home.

(Please pardon the blurry spots in above photos. Gracen licked the camera lens again.)

Gracen and I have had a very dramatic/interesting day. It started off with a busted lip on a cedar chest, moved on to several diaper removals (by her, NOT me) with the last one being "fun-filled," and then to a full body marker painting of herself. All seem to speak to maternal negligence, apparently. I hope to do better tomorrow.

I met baby Zachary the other evening. He's a perfect little man, and I love him. He's nursing well and loving his mama and daddy (and his auntie, of course). Because of some jaundice, they are keeping him in an extra day, but will hopefully be home tomorrow!! Love you guys!! (Matt's Picasa site is linked from ours if you want to see some pics.)

Way to Rock It, Laura!!!

Welcome to the world, Zachary Sagan Blanchard!!! Nice job, Matt and Laura! Yesterday morning, after 10 hours of all natural labor (including 3 hours of pushing), little man finally joined us via the big "C." We're so glad that everyone is happy and healthy. I'm dying to get there to see him!! I will try to get there this afternoon, so more pics to follow. We love all three of you!!!!

Bangs.

Try to control yourselves, friends. This is indeed TWO posts in ONE week. I think I'm back!!
Adam and I didn't get one another Christmas presents this year. Nor will we being doing so for the next five years or so. Instead, we invested in a water softener/neutralizer/filtration/reverse osmosis system. I would go on about the disgusting nature of what we were dealing with, but suffice it to say that Gracen and I had grown tired of mud/iron/bacteria baths. And I was tired of needing to clean the toilets 3-5 times a week. It's a whole new world here with good water. We can drink from the tap, so no more hauling of 10 gallons of water from the grocer. The green stains in the sinks, tubs, showers and toilets from our deteriorating copper pipes have stopped returning. Another benefit, which I had not really considered was the difference in our hair. My curls are returning, as are the frizzies, so I'm having to use product again to maintain control. Gracen's hair is remarkably softer and has lightened a few shades. Perhaps the iron deposits are working themselves out. Adam's hair is, well, unchanged.

Gracen's soft hair and refusal to stay pinned back (and my sleep deprivation and crankiness) led me to an unplanned attack of baby locks the other morning. I had literally repinned her hair 10 times before breakfast, so as she was sitting there eating, I sneaked by with a pair of scissors and snipped. After a little panic attack, I tried to straighten as best I could and am working towards acceptance. I have childhood bang issues. My mother cut mine when I was Gracie's age. They spread from ear to ear and worked themselves all the way to the back of my head. One might almost call it a mullet. I prefer to look at it as a bi-level. Business in the front, party in the rear. My sister, on the other hand, was bangless, with long, thick, lovely curls. I had some serious hair envy for many years, and I have been determined to keep Gracen's hair in a style that she can look back on in thirty years and appreciate the beauty. I might have to hide her 3-7 month photos.

Anyway, this is the result (with a pouty face for Aunt Belle).

Adam wanted me to make sure to post this picture of his Prius with two boats. His excitement was barely containable. It really just seems sort of wrong in nature (a Prius with roof racks), as it brings the MPG down from 50-something to 30-something. A real tragedy, if you ask me. The family went for a New Year's boating trip down Robeson Creek to Jordan Lake. It was not warm. At. All. But it was fun. And much thanks to KatieKate and her wonderful wool clothing line for keeping our child warm and dry on the water.

Here are some shots of the newly updated office, which now doubles as Adam and Shanna's sleeping quarters. The transition is going well, though I sleep much less. I'm not sure if it's because I hear Gracen laughing at 3 AM or because her sister likes to have wiggle parties about that time. Whatever the case, I have resumed my napping. My hope is to fight through the urge today and try to go to sleep at 8:00.

We're off to get out of our jammers, brush our teeth and head over to the neighbor's. We have some serious name analysis to get through today. Please, keep the ideas flowing!!

Happy New Year!!

UPDATED:
And, we're back! New Year's only resolution is to return to blogging. I have no excuses to give, so I'll not bother with making one up. I've just been absorbed in family life these days and loving every moment of it.

This is one of the 100+ photos taken for our would-be Christmas card. We didn't get a single perfect shot out of the bunch. The picture was either unfocused, our hair was a mess, or a dog would sneak into the frame at the last second. I don't mind our dogs being in a Christmas card, but the only view we were presented with was the rear, which just didn't speak "Happy Holidays." So let's pretend I was trying to be environmentally conscientious and wanted to save trees and cut down on carbon emissions. We really, really, really do wish all of you a happy holiday season!! And I'll refrain from my pretend eco-friendliness next year, and send your card out in November. I did buy FOUR books of Christmas stamps, so if you get a note from me in July, you can say hello to the reindeer or Mary and baby Jesus and be reminded of this blessed time of year.

Cheeseballiness from Christmas morning. We had a very relaxed, quiet Christmas at our home with Adam's parents. Gracen had a fever and an ugly GI bug, the grandparents had colds, but we were all happy and had a wonderful day. The food was pretty excellent, if I do say so myself, and I kept it relatively tame. A couple of days later however, I was wishing we had done the overkill approach as all the leftovers ran out, and we were left with boxed mac-n-cheese and canned salmon. Gracen's big Santa gift this year was a wooden kitchen set. Adam and I got to have our first official Santa construction party Christmas Eve, which really seemed to solidify this whole parentage thing we're doing. You'd think having a child would make it real enough, but something about being Santa's little helpers made us feel all grown up. It was a milestone.

Speaking of parenting, this fine looking ultrasound photo is of our new baby GIRL! Gracen's going to have a little sister. I won the bet. I won, I won, I won. (And because I won, I get a gourmet meal cooked for me by my losing husband once a week for a month). We had another ultrasound performed by my Aunt Minerva over the weekend, and we were trying to get some good 3D shots. Unfortunately, nameless lady is a bit stubborn when it comes to sonography, and refuses to help us out. In order to get a really clear picture, you have to have a good pocket of fluid in front of whatever your trying to capture, else it comes out a little scary, as pictured above. I still think she's awfully pretty though. If anyone has any good little girl name thoughts that would flow well with Gracen, please share. I'm having a hard time with this one.

This is the beginning of Gracen's big girl room!! We're not going to use the box spring on her bed for a while, so we're keeping it as low as possible to prevent excessive injuries. Both of her parents had a tendency to fall from the bed. We have a mesh railing that I tried out for a day. She actually ended up sleeping in her bed that night, though I woke up around two AM to confused cries, with her sweet body pressed entirely between the mesh and mattress. For those of you that have been to our home and know the layout, we've moved the guest king into the office/playroom and are officially going to be sleeping upstairs. We'll be keeping all of our "stuff" downstairs, but we just feel safer being closer to the kid(s). I'm pretty sure we'll be loving having a downstairs master suite when they're older, but for now, it's good to have quick access to attend to their needs. Gracen is still on night sleep strike. Crying it out doesn't work, putting her in the bed with us doesn't work. We're lost. She does take 2-3 hour naps, which is good, but any suggestions, aside from drugging her, we'd love to hear.

Yep. You're not seeing double. That is indeed an official copy Froggy. For my loyal readers, which has probably dwindled down to two by now, you may remember me putting out a request via the blog last spring looking for another Froggy. Anyway, over the last few months, I've been getting emails and comments from people who have come across our blog in a Google search about stuffed animals. Strange we're so popular in the universe. A very nice lady recently, who's a big fan of Ebay, found a couple of potential frog links for me. One, I lost. The other is pictured above. I don't know this woman, but I love her!! And Gracen, of course, totally knew the difference. He didn't stink appropriately. I pretended to just take him out of the dryer, but she pinched and sniffed every single inch of him and finally threw him down. I returned our crusty, though newly bathed version, and eventually did a quick switch out with the new guy, and she's not noticed the difference. I'm waiting for him to get really dirty and then store him away for emergencies. A part of me feels horribly guilty for whatever reason.

I'm not sure that these pictures even need a caption. They were watching a Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas special. Walker climbed on the couch to chill, Gracie climed up for a snuggle. I cried and took a picture.

Adam and I at my parents lot on Reynolds Mountain. Someday, a house might sit on it. For the last few years, they have been landscaping and building incredible rock walls and Gator roads throughout the property. They have various boulder seating areas, like the one above. Really, a house isn't even necessary to love this spot overlooking Asheville.
The McDaniel-Efland sisters (left to right): Melissa, Shanna, Jenny, and Annie. Our biggest news from Thanksgiving was that Jenny and Andy are expecting a baby in May!! She is due a few weeks before us. It just makes me smile.Adam and I drove through Cullowhee on our way up to his parent's cabin over Thanksgiving. We have to pass my old college house. Yes, those are pink cinder blocks you're seeing there. We paid $300 a month for this lovely, slightly divey home back in the day. It's in the middle of a cow pasture, and so beautiful. This home started my love of living far away from neighbors (just the ones you can see--we love the ones through the woods).
A view of the Riggsbee "cabin." I use this term very loosely. The are in the midst of a massive remodel/addition. They eventually plan to live here full time. This is where Adam and I had our first date, fell hopelessly in love, first kiss, proposal and honeymoon. A big piece of my heart lives on top of this mountain.
Ghi-ghi and Pops got Gracen a Radio Flyer rocking moose for Christmas. Hands down, her favorite present to date.My sister Annie (Aunt Belle)has always been one to break into dance, often at random times, and she doesn't necessarily need music. Gracen, oddly, has this same "gift." The music over Thanksgiving and Christmas was on the entire time, and the dancing was nonstop. Seriously, NONSTOP. Gracen will come into the room, point at the listening device and start shaking it until you turn something on. At this point, the turner-oner must also dance. For hours.
Gracen and cousin Sabrina. I miss this girl. Come over, okay?!

Ghi-ghi, Gracie and Clem. We've seen a lot of my mom over the past month or two, and I have come to a new realization. I'm not nearly as fabulous to my child if her Ghi-ghi is around. She has no need for me. She won't come to me, cuddle with me, talk to me. Her Ghi-ghi gets it all. My mother, of course, loves this. In fact, Gracen's first full sentence is "Ghi-ghi, love you" (Ghi-ghi, nud-jooo). Speaking of talking, this girl doesn't stop. I can't even list all the words she has because it's gotten that extensive. She's repeating everything, so you have to be careful:) It's just amazing watching the process of her understanding so much of the language and is now able to communicate back with words. She still uses some signs, but she pretty much has the spoken words for those now, so she's using the language more.

She won't fall asleep for nap, so I just had to go get her some "mo milch" and hand her her "pashi," which she'd thrown out of the crib. It's quiet. She only took two hours to fall asleep. We're supposed to be going boating on the lake this afternoon with a picnic. So to all you people who are getting snow today, "PPLLLLFFFTTTTTTTTT!!" (that's me spitting at you) We get to play in the sorta-sun.

Gracie and Uncle Sheppie. The two were a bit rowdy together and none of the pictures had them both looking at the camera at the same time. Gracen would like to request a visit up from the ATL. We have a special Austin friend in town, so it'd be a good time to come:)
